Downtown Dog champions animal welfare causes whenever possible. In fact, a very large number of our doggie clients found their fur-ever homes through rescue groups and shelters. Here are some of the groups nearest and dearest to our hearts:

- Oklahoma Westie Rescue
Oklahoma Westie Rescue is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and placement of neglected, abandoned or injured Westies. We are a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization of volunteers who open their hearts and homes to care for these little angels.
- Lost Paws Rescue of Texas
Lost Paws Rescue of Texas was organized to prevent animal suffering, animal cruelty, and to help educate the public about spaying and neutering their pets as well as responsible pet ownership. We dedicate ourselves to helping homeless animals in the Dallas-Fort Worth area find permanent, loving, forever homes. Our organization consist or a group of volunteers dedicated to animal welfare. We are a foster based rescue group. All of our dogs and cats stay in loving foster homes.
